The Shiranui is a sweet variety of a mandarin orange grown in north Florida, They are a very sweet, seedless fruit. A cross between a Ponkan Tangerine and a Kiyomi Tangor. They are known for their extremely large size and bumpy skin with a large protruding top knot on the fruit hence their trademark name ‘Sumo®’ Shiranui’s have a rich mandarin orange honey flavor and are considered to be one of the most flavorful citruses in the world and as an added bonus, they rarely produce seeds.
